Manchester United is at the start of a new dawn under Sir Jim Ratcliffe, whom fans are hoping can revive the success of days gone by.

The British billionaire recently completed his purchase of a 27.7% stake in the club and is already taking a much more hands-on approach than the Glazer family ever has. It's far too early to tell whether Ratcliffe's methods will work in reviving the former glories of Old Trafford, but there are signs from his past works that perhaps offer insight in how they'll work.

Daily Star Sport's Jeremy Cross recently paid a visit to the headquarters of INEOS, the petrochemicals company Ratcliffe founded in 1998 and the primary source of his considerable riches. And it's within the halls of the Knightsbridge location that one can glimpse rare snippets of the methods and mantras he'll seek to promote at Old Trafford.

So it matches up that the lifelong United fan would hope to use the same approaches in an attempt to put the club back on top of the European football pyramid.

And it's in the INEOS toilets, of all places, that one can glean a glimpse into Ratcliffe's process. Cross recalled: "In the bathroom, a sign gives staff simple instructions on how to use the toilet brush, so that cleaners don't have to."
