1 Former Manchester United player Nani has had his contract terminated at Turkish club, Adana Demirspor Kulubu, after only 10 months.
The Portuguese winger signed for the Red Devils in 2007 and was an integral part of the club's last Champions League win in 2008, scoring a penalty in the final shootout victory over Chelsea.
He would go on to play 230 times for the Red Devils, scoring 40 goals in all competitions.
The tricky winger also enjoyed a trophy-laden spell at the club, winning 8 major awards, including four Premier League titles.
He permanently left the club in 2015 and he has since bounced around numerous clubs such as Fenerbahce, Valencia, Orlando City and Melbourne Victory.
Nani also tasted success with his national team, winning Euro 2016 with Portugal against all odds.
He signed for Adana Demirspor Kulubu in July 2023 on an initial one-year deal, with an option to extend.
However, his time at the club has been cut short with the club sitting 11th in Turkey's top-tier with just two games to go. He has scored four goals and made three assists across 34 matches in all competitions.
Yesterday the club released a statement on X saying, "we have parted ways with Luis Nani by mutual agreement."
"We would like to thank Nani for his services and we wish him success in his future career."

The 37 year old must now search for a new club should he wish to continue his long and successful career.
The player, who was often criticised during his time at Old Trafford, was labelled "the worst teammate" by Wayne Rooney as he was "frustrating" to play with.
On the other hand, another former colleague, Rio Ferdinand, described Nani as "A ridiculous player ... a proper player ... what they would give to have him [now]".
Always a fan favourite due to his wonder goals and acrobatic celebrations, wherever Nani goes next, entertainment will surely follow.
