It is seriously a grand old shame that Manchester United did not secure the signature of Harry Kane in the last summer transfer window.
The England captain has been Europe's most prolific goalscorer in the 23/24 campaign, absolutely terrorising defences in his inaugural Bundesliga season.
It could have been so very different. He was linked all window with Erik ten Hag's Manchester United, but probably down to cost, nothing came to fruition. Rasmus Hojlund was bought instead.
It's a shame, as he's a real fan of one member of Manchester United's current first-team squad.
In a quickfire interview with GOAL, Tottenham's all-time record goalscorer was tasked with building the 'scariest defender', presumably of players he's faced or played with in his career.
When asked who would fit the 'pace' category, Kane replied: "You know who is real quick? [Raphael] Varane."
MORE UNITED STORIES
The 30-year-old has evidently been outpaced in a couple of battles with Rapha before, however - more than likely before his Manchester United days. He's definitely lost a yard or two.
Who was Kane's 'scariest defender?' Harry Kane was also posed with a number of different categories, where he named a whole host of legendary defensive names alongside Varane. They were as follows:
Strength? Virgil van Dijk Pace? Raphael Varane Technique? Toby Alderweireld Aerial ability? Giorgio Chiellini Aggression? Cuti Romero Football IQ? John Terry Christ. That would be some centre-half!
