Fabrizio Romano confirms Man United are interested in signing 22-year-old, player 'really appreciated' by Reds: report

Man United are keen on signing Michael Olise, and are being kept up to date on his transfer situation.

Manchester United may not have much money to play with this coming summer, with the club in a situation where they have to sell before they can buy.

Erik ten Hag may not be the manager at that point, but let's wait and see on that one. Either way, planning behind the scenes is well underway, with some acquisitions needed in order to help the Old Trafford club move closer to the top.

One man who has been heavily linked with making a Theatre of Dreams switch is Michael Olise.

The winger has enjoyed himself, particularly in the second half of this season, after returning from injury.

Now, while speaking to Give Me Sport, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed United are still interested in signing the 22-year-old.

Olise has a release clause that comes into effect this summer, with United set to be aware about that clause and the conditions of any transfer.

Romano goes on to state that the player is 'really appreciated' by the Reds, and has been for the last year or so.

If you're looking to fix the issues on the right-wing, look no further than Olise. He's Premier League proven, young and still improving. Olise ripped United to shreds a couple of weeks ago. I'd love to see him doing that to other clubs.

My main concern here is whether Olise would choose United as a transfer destination. Let's be honest, it has been a rough campaign for the Reds and he may not want to move to a club that has been trending downwards over the last few years...
