BBC Sport pundit Chris Sutton has made his clear-cut scoreline prediction for Manchester United's final Premier League match of the season against Brighton.
The Red Devils will travel to the Amex for their Premier League encounter with Brighton, with kick-off slated for 4pm UK time on Sunday.
Brighton travelled to Old Trafford earlier this season and Roberto De Zerbi's men secured an emphatic 3-1 win over Manchester United last September.
United played their final match at Old Trafford this season on Wednesday evening and the Red Devils picked up a 3-2 win over Newcastle.
Erik ten Hag's men were under pressure to deliver a result after losing 1-0 against Arsenal at Old Trafford and 4-0 to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
The under-fire United manager will be hopeful of picking up a second consecutive win before the Red Devils travel to Wembley for the FA Cup final on 25th May.
Sutton talks Brighton ahead of Man Utd match Brighton have won once in their last five Premier League matches under Roberto De Zerbi, who has been linked as a replacement for Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.
The Seagulls are 10th in the Premier League table and De Zerbi's side are nine points adrift from eighth-place Manchester United.
United, on the other hand, are level on points with seventh-place Newcastle and three points behind sixth-place Chelsea ahead of their final league match.
Speaking in his BBC Sport column, Chris Sutton spotlighted Brighton's current poor run of form under De Zerbi after the Seagulls' 2-1 defeat to Chelsea.
"I've been talking for a while now about how the season has fizzled out for Brighton and their manager Roberto de Zerbi, and their poor form continued against Chelsea on Wednesday," he said.
"The Seagulls can still secure a top-10 finish with a win here, though, and things cannot be too bad if that counts as a disappointing campaign."
Sutton's scoreline prediction for Brighton vs Man Utd Despite United returning to winning ways against Newcastle, Sutton is far from convinced that Erik ten Hag's men have turned the tide back in their favour.
The BBC Sport pundit insisted that United finishing in eighth place in the Premier League table would be a "pretty accurate reflection" of their campaign.
Sutton revealed that he backs Brighton to pick up a 2-1 win against United at the Amex, despite the poor run of form from De Zerbi's men.
"Fair play to Manchester United for getting over the line against Newcastle United on Wednesday but they are still only in eighth place," he continued.
"If they finish there, that is a pretty accurate reflection of their season."
