Arsenal urged to do 'everything' to sign Premier League star ahead of Man Utd and Chelsea

Olise is attracting interest from a number of Premier League giants ahead of the summer transfer window, having enjoyed a brief yet brilliant season for Palace.

Injuries have limited the 22-year-old to just 13 starts and yet Olise has still contributed 10 goals and five assists, helping Crystal Palace pull clear of the relegation scrap to finish in mid-table.

Palace are bracing themselves for substantial offers for Olise - as well as his in-form teammate Eberechi Eze - with United and Chelsea heavily linked with summer moves.

But World Cup winner and former Premier League star Petit wants Arsenal to strike a deal for Olise and says they should be doing 'everything' to beat their rivals to his signature.

'I watched Michael Olise against Manchester United [in Palace's 4-0 win on May 6] and I thought he was incredible,' Petit told Grosvenor Sport.

'Arsenal should do everything they can to sign him over Man United and Chelsea. He did some tricks during the game - and so did Eze - where in my day they would have left the stadium on crutches.

'If I had to choose I'd have both, but Olise is more what Arsenal need on the right-flank. Having both him and Saka would be very good for Arsenal because they still need that and Olise has improved so much over the last few years.

'If I'm Olise, I'd choose Arsenal too as I want ambition in my career and my place is not at Crystal Palace anymore.'

New Palace boss Oliver Glasner hopes Olise and Eze both stay at Selhurst Park this summer and says the club will do 'everything possible' to keep them.

'You never know how your squad will look when the next season starts. They're amazing players, this is an amazing group.'

Crystal Palace defender Joachim Andersen, meanwhile, added: 'I'll be praying the whole summer for them to stay, maybe send them a few messages.'

The Eagles, who have won five of their last six games to climb to 12th in the Premier League, host fourth-placed Aston Villa on the final day.
