Manchester United will launch their new home, away and third kits for the 2024/25 season in July and August as a result of a new shirt sponsorship deal.
Some Premier League clubs - including Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal - officially released their new home kits for next season in May, with the shirts available to buy in time for the final weekend of the season.
But while there have been some leaked images of possible United kits for next season the official launch is yet to take place and all three shirts are only likely to be unveiled later in the summer. That is because the club have a new shirt sponsorship deal in place with Snapdragon, but the record PS60million-a-year deal only comes into force on July 1.
United agreed a new PS900million 10-year deal with Adidas last July for the German manufacturer to continue making the kits, but Snapdragon will replace TeamViewer as the primary sponsor for next season.
Although the kits can only be launched once the Snapdragon deal starts, it is not unusual for United to launch their shirts later into the summer. Last season the home kit was launched on June 27, the away kit on July 24 and the third kit on August 8.
At least one of the new kits is expected to be launched on the club's pre-season tour of the United States and it could be centred around their return to San Diego and a friendly with Real Betis at the Snapdragon Stadium on July 31. The tech firm's parent company Qualcomm is headquartered in the Californian city.
United haven't disclosed the length of the deal with Snapdragon but the contract is an improvement on the PS47million-a-year deal with TeamViewer despite the club's ongoing struggles on the pitch.
The German firm had agreed a five-year deal worth PS235million but came under pressure in the pandemic to end the arrangement after shareholders accused the company of "appalling judgement."
Qualcomm became a global partner with United last July and their decision to now expand that relationship, alongside a second successive pre-season visit to San Diego, suggests a strong relationship.
