A luxury yacht owned by British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe has been spotted in the Turku archipelago off Finland's southwest coast.
Ratcliffe was named the second wealthiest person in the UK last year by the Sunday Times Rich List, with an estimated fortune of nearly 30 billion pounds.
Yle has been unable to confirm if Ratcliffe is aboard the 100 million euros superyacht, named Sherpa, or holidaying off Vepsa, a holiday resort island owned by the city of Turku.
The Sherpa yacht was built in 2018 by Feadship, a Dutch-owned designer and manufacturer of luxury vessels. It is 74 metres long and can accommodate 12 guests as well as 22 crew members.
Ratcliffe is best known for his role as founder, chair and majority shareholder of the chemical company INEOS. He also became a minority shareholder in Manchester United earlier this year.
