Manchester United have requested the asking price for Bologna winger Dan Ndoye following his impressive performances at Euro 2024, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Red Devils have been in talks with the representative of Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee in recent weeks and they remain optimistic of landing his signature ahead of AC Milan.
Di Marzio has now revealed that the club are also interested in his teammate Ndoye, who scored the opening goal in Switzerland's 1-1 draw against Germany at Euro 2024.
Shortly after the game, United are said to have 'tested the waters' for him. They requested information regarding the valuation for his potential transfer from the Serie A outfit.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS know the player well as he was previously with Nice and Lausanne.
United eyeing cost-effective winger signing A new centre-forward and centre-back are among the top priorities for the club this summer, but they could also be eyeing a right-sided winger with potential to improve.
Ndoye could be a solution for the Red Devils. The Swiss netted only three goals and five assists from 38 appearances last term, but he has been a revelation at the Euros.
The 23-year-old scored against Germany and was denied his goal against Scotland by a marginal offside decision. He is valued at PS12 million by Transfermarkt, but Bologna could demand much more.
The Serie A outfit qualified for the Champions League against the odds last term. They finished fifth in the league, but were awarded the additional spot in the competition through the co-efficient ranking.
A number of Bologna players including Zirkzee, Jhon Lucumi and Riccardo Calafiori have also been linked with exits. The Italian club are unlikely to let go of Ndoye on the cheap after his Euro 2024 displays.
