On transfer deadline day, the forward completed a loan move to Spanish La Liga side Getafe.
During the 23/24 season, Greenwood managed 10 goals and six assists in 36 matches across all competitions for Getafe.
With the season over, Greenwood's future is now being talked about again.
On Thursday morning, it was reported by The Athletic that Marseille have entered the race to sign the 22-year-old.

"Club-to-club talks at early stage + finances not yet discussed. Positive dialogue between #OM & 22yo #MUFC forward - thought to favour them over other options at present @TheAthleticFC."
Aside from Marseille, Greenwood has also been linked with the likes of Juventus, Lazio and Turkish side Fenerbahce, who are now managed by former United boss Jose Mourinho.
The Athletic also reported that Getafe would like Greenwood to return after his loan spell and Napoli along with 'teams in Germany, Spain and Portugal are also monitoring the situation'.
