Manchester United are looking to strengthen their midfield this summer by targeting Manuel Ugarte. However, reports suggest that PSG rejected their offer, deeming it too low for the Uruguayan player.
Ugarte has also caught the interest of Serie A clubs like AC Milan and Juventus. Despite this, a move to Old Trafford seems to be gaining traction, as the 23-year-old is reportedly open to sacrificing participation in a major tournament for the transfer.
Journalist Ben Jacobs reports that there isn't any deal close between PSG and Manchester United for Ugarte. PSG has multiple interested parties and will only sell if they get the right price, which hasn't been met yet. Manchester United remains in discussions and knows Ugarte is open to the move, but PSG is in no hurry to sell.

Another recent report gave good news to the English side as Diario AS revealed that Atletico Madrid's management is unaware that manager Diego Simeone has contacted Ugarte to convince him to play for Atletico.
The 23-year-old expressed his desire to stay back in May, so it'll be interesting to see if he gets his wish or if PSG decides to part ways after just one season.
"We'll see," Ugarte told Amazon Prime. "I would love to [stay at PSG]. We'll have to see. For now, I'm here and enjoying the end of the season."
Ugarte appeared in 37 matches across all competitions for PSG last season, registering three assists.
