Manchester United could earn up to PS25million a year if they can agree a stadium naming rights deal, sources have told Football Insider.

Sports business expert Lukasz Baczek exclusively revealed to Football Insider there is likely to be significant interest from companies looking to secure a deal with Man United.

The Athletic reported the Premier League giants are considering selling the naming rights to a refurbished Old Trafford or a newly-built stadium.

It comes as Sir Jim Ratcliffe is looking to drive up Man United's revenues after securing a 27.7 per cent stake in the club for PS1.25billion earlier this year.

Sources say a naming rights deal for the PS74,000-seater stadium or a brand new development would likely bring in between PS20-25million a year due to the club's global standing.

Man United naming rights deal could exceed Man City agreement Ratcliffe has been exploring various potential avenues to fund the stadium project since his arrival at Old Trafford in February.
