Manchester United are set to be active in the transfer window this summer as Sir Jim Ratcliffe looks to continue his Red Devils overhaul to ensure the club improve in 2024/25
Manchester United have their footballing hierarchy in place with the arrival of Dan Ashworth as sporting director and can now look to kick-on in the transfer market.
The Red Devils extended Erik ten Hag's contract at Old Trafford earlier this week as the 13-times Premier League champions look to cement some stability amidst an ongoing overhaul. Activity will be expected in and out of the club over the course of this summer as United look to produce a better performance in the Premier League during 2024/25.
The club already have their eye on a number of targets and are prioritising a central defender, midfielder and a forward in the coming weeks. United will also need to sell players to improve upon the PS50million budget they start the transfer window with.
Mirror Football takes a look at some of the transfer stories surrounding the club currently.
After falling out with Ten Hag last season, Sancho enjoyed a productive loan with Borrusia Dortmund but a reunion with the Dutch coach remains unlikely. In addition to Juve, Barcelona are also said to be interested in the winger.
Romano said: "Sancho - Juve, Barca, at the moment. Nothing is imminent for Sancho, but I can confirm that Juventus appreciate the player. Maybe some of you remember that at the end of November last year, I told you about Juventus' interest in Sancho before Borussia Dortmund appeared on the scene.

Erik ten Hag sees transfer greenlit Manchester United have made progress in their bid to land Dutch forward Joshua Zirkzee. The Bologna ace has been linked to the Red Devils all summer and is currently in the Netherlands squad at Euro 2024.
United are said to have agreed terms with Zirkzee's agent but Ten Hag played a pivotal role in persuading the player according to Corriere di Bologna. Ten Hag is reported to have contacted Zirkzee directly to overcome his reluctance in joining a team with an established forward.
With United leading the race it is also said that any advance from Arsenal is set to be rejected while AC Milan are now considering other forwards.
United will need to agree a compensation package for Ten Rouwelaar, who worked with Vincent Kompany at Burnley last term. The 43-year-old previously played a key role in Kompany landing the Championship title with the Clarets in 2023, coaching Arijanet Muric across the season. The former Man City boss ensured Ten Rouwelaar joined him at Turf Moor, making the same trip from Anderlecht in 2020.
