Bruno Fernandes' Euro 2024 adventure ended on Friday night as France knocked out Portugal on penalties.
Portugal went all the way to penalties for their second consecutive game, but this time they'd pushed their luck too far as France won the shoot-out 5-3, knocking the Portuguese out of Euro 2024.
Going 240 minutes without scoring a goal is a ridiculous thing and really Portugal didn't deserve to go through against France as since a dominating opening game, they've been nothing like the team they were in qualifying.
The loss had relevance for Manchester United too, with both Diogo Dalot and Bruno Fernandes' Euro 2024 adventures coming to a close.
After United fans have had their say, here is how Bruno has been rated for his display in the penalty defeat.
To begin with, Observador scored Bruno just 6/10, before offering a fair yet unremarkable review: "He was a little isolated from the moment of construction but his electric nature means he always looks for breaking passes - which didn't exactly work out well, as happened with free kicks, crosses and corners. Excellent at moving forward on the right".

ABola was similarly saddened when writing their review which saw Bruno score a 6/10: "He tried to enter the game more, to have another participation in the construction, but he still could not get closer to his registration. This time he even tried his luck from afar, and free-to-end as well. I'm going to Maignan to deny him a goal in the second half. He left at minute 74, justifiably."
Outlet Zap was less kind to Bruno, pushing his ratings down into the 5s, with a match rating of just 5.6, which seems fair. While ZeroZero gave him a 6/10 which happened to be the second worst in the Portugal team, only beaten by Cristiano Ronaldo with 5/10 after his awful campaign.
Not Bruno's best night, but for Roberto Martinez, withdrawing him can't have been a smart call as he is Portugal's best player and can create something out of absolutely nothing.
Manchester United will be silently delighted with this outcome While United won't be outwardly happy that Bruno and Portugal are eliminated, Erik ten Hag will be glad that Bruno didn't have to play all 120 minutes.
The captain of Old Trafford will now get an early holiday and will be back with the club training a lot sooner than if he had gone all the way.
This has important consequences for the 2024 Community Shield against Manchester City on August 10th as it means Bruno will be back for that game and could even manage to get some minutes prior.
While it is a glorified friendly, it's a chance at more silverware and to get one over on Pep Guardiola which Ten Hag won't want to pass up on.
