Now, according to an exclusive story covered by Caught Offside, Man Utd have agreed a deal with Zirkzee over personal terms to secure his signature.
The news source have mentioned that the Old Trafford club have moved in the lead and are ahead of AC Milan and Premier League rivals, Arsenal, to lure the 23-year-old.
CO have not mentioned the figures of the contract but recent reports have indicated that the deal could be worth PS98,000 a week for a player who only takes home around PS19,000 a week.
It must be taken into consideration that Arsenal can offer Champions League football to the player this season.
However, it is stated that Zirkzee will turn down a move to the north London club as his priority is to join Man Utd.
The former Bayern Munich forward helped Bologna earn CL qualification after six decades and netted 12 goals in all competitions.
Last summer, we signed Hojlund from Atalanta, who had only netted 9 goals in the Serie A in the 2022-23 campaign and the Danish forward only managed to score 10 goals in the PL last term.
Do you think signing Joshua Zirkzee would be a right decision for Man Utd?
