Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes could be on his way out of Old Trafford this summer after four and a half seasons with the club.

That's according to reports from TeamTalk who reveal that the Red Devils have allowed the Portuguese superstar to delve into a proposal from Cristiano Ronaldo's side Al Nassr and fellow PIF owned side Al Ittihad.

The outlet understands that both clubs have already explained their positions, projects and the possible role that Fernandes would have in their team if he was to sign.

Al Nassr is believed to be Fernandes' preferred option if a move to the Middle East was to take place. The Riyadh based side finished second in the Saudi Pro League last season and have a number of stars in their team including Sadio Mane, Aymeric Laporte, Marcelo Brosovic and most notably Ronaldo.

Al Ittihad slipped to a disappointing fifth place finish last year despite the signings of Karim Benzema, Fabinho and N'Golo Kante. However, the Jeddah based outfit are determined to spend big once again as they look to reclaim the title they won back in 2023.

TeamTalk understands that both Saudi club are willing to spend big to facilitate a deal but adds that the Red Devils are reluctant to let Fernandes go due the important role that he plays in the team.

He has remained a crucial figure ever since and a constant source of creativity within the team under Erik ten Hag and helped the team lift the League Cup in the Dutchaman's first term in the North West. Last season he inherited the captain's armband from England international Harry Maguire and was a catalyst for the club's FA Cup triumph despite a disappointing league campaign.
