Manchester United have already secured a deal to land one striker in the form of Joshua Zirkzee but he is not the only center forward on their radar.
Last month, we covered a story via GMS claiming Man Utd are willing to reach an agreement to sign PS60million-rated Brentford forward, Ivan Toney.
Two days ago, The Telegraph revealed that after Zirkzee, the Old Trafford club are weighing up a move to hire the Bees striker in the summer.
The optimistic aspect for the 20-time English champions is that even Toney is ready to agree a move to Man Utd.
According to Christian Falk, the 28-year-old star wants to move to United.
The famous German journalist stated:
"Beside the Transfer of Joshua Zirkzee, Manchester United is interested in Ivan Toney, striker, contract till 2025. Toney wants to join Manchester United. Brentford is already informed by the Agent of the striker."
Toney is a proven quality goal scorer in the Premier League, good in the air and a top finisher.
For Brentford, overall, he has thus far played over 140 games, scored 72 goals and also provided 23 assists.
At the European Championships, the England international set up the winning goal against Slovakia in the Round of 16. He is starting on the bench for the Three Lions in the final against Spain.
Over the years, United have offloaded forwards like Cavani, Ronaldo, Weghorst and most recently, Martial. Therefore, multiple strikers should be lured this summer.
In your view, should Man Utd pay PS60million to sign Ivan Toney?
