Man Utd and Bayern Munich Fall Short of PSG’s Asking Price for Star Midfielder, Report Says
Source:PSG Talk

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte might be on the move this summer, with rumors linking him to several European clubs, including a notable interest from Manchester United.

This month, Le10Sport reported that the English side sent a proposal of EUR45 million plus several bonuses, which has prompted internal discussions. Moreover, the outlet notes that manager Luis Enrique is now in charge of the decision regarding Ugarte.

Enrique can either veto the move and ask the management to reject all offers or allow Ugarte to leave and rebuild his midfield without him. Furthermore, if the Parisians are going to sell the Uruguayan they want a club to meet their asking price.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, PSG are genuinely interested in Joao Neves, though they don't intend to activate his EUR120 million release clause. Instead, they're looking to offer Benfica around EUR75 million.

Neves is the club's top priority, which is why Manuel Ugarte might be available for the right price. While Manchester United and Bayern Munich have shown interest, their offers haven't come close to PSG's EUR60 million asking price for Ugarte.
