Fulham dealt fresh Man Utd transfer blow as 'deal agreed and medical booked'
Source:Latest News

The Premier League season is creeping closer, and transfer business is only likely to pick up from here with the international tournaments wrapped up. Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and the other London clubs will all be pushing for new deals, hoping to strengthen and improve on last term.

The summer transfer window has been a little slow so far, but money will undoubtedly be spent, and in great quantity. With that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Premier League.

McTominay blowFulham have been dealt a blow in their bid to land Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay. The Cottagers have seen a bid rejected for the Scot as they look to replace JoaoPalhinha. The Red Devils rejected an offer worth PS17million, and now Galatasaray are hoping to seal a deal.

"McTominay's transfer is being discussed," Galatsaray chief Ibrahim Hatipoglu told Haber Sari Kirmiz, via Metro.co.uk. In a different interview with CNN Turk, he added: "We are interested in a player from the Premier League and Manchester United. There is nothing more natural than the high cost of this. There are discussions regarding his transfer fee. For us, the total cost, including transfer fees and player receivables [salary], is important at the decision point. Once the negotiations with both the club and the player are completed, the cost becomes apparent."

Yoro deal closeManchester United are said to be close to wrapping up a deal for Lille defender Leny Yoro. The centre-back was subject to a PS52.06m offer from United that was swiftly accepted. Lille were keen to strike a deal to avoid losing Yoro for free next summer amid interest from Real Madrid.

As reported by various outlets, including the BBC, the 18-year-old is not set to fly to Manchester to undertake his medical ahead of completing a deal. There was concern that Yoro would hold out for Real Madrid, but the defender appears to be willing to make the move.

Summerville latestLeeds United winger Crysencio Summerville is reportedly attracting interest from the likes of Brighton and Newcastle United this summer. A deal is not close at this stage, according to reports, but journalist Ben Jacobs believes a departure is still likely. He told GiveMeSport: "There is interest in him (Summerville). We know Brighton have taken a look. We know that he could still be on Chelsea's radar. Newcastle are also interested in the player. So it will still be a big surprise if between now and the end of the window, given how many clubs want players in his position, it will be a surprise if somebody doesn't make a formal offer for Summerville.

"Then ultimately, Leeds will speak to the player, and they'll have a big decision to make. But if there are exits at Leeds, it will be because it suits all parties, rather than because Leeds are scrambling, financially speaking, or are forced to sell."
