Manchester United have added a new name to the list of potential transfer targets, United In Focus have been told.
United are taking an interest in right-back Guela Doue, as a potential replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The information comes via HITC transfer insider Graeme Bailey, who says the 21-year-old is a player Manchester United admire.
United have had an active transfer window so far, securing deals for Bologna's Joshua Zirkzee and Lille's Leny Yoro.
United need two right-backs, and if Wan-Bissaka departed, then a replacement is needed.
The club and manager Erik ten Hag rate Diogo Dalot very highly, the first choice at the position, and so it is unlikely a big PS30-50 million fee would be spent on a Jeremie Frimpong or Denzel Dumfries.
MORE UNITED STORIESUnited are updating the list of potential targets, and while Bayern's Noussair Mazrouai has now been offered to the club by his agents, a younger player in the Guela Doue mould could be more attractive to United.
Ineos want to build around youth, and Doue, 21, has the right level of experience to back-up Dalot, and would also be relatively cheap.
No move is expected imminently, with United focusing on key targets Manuel Ugarte in midfield and Matthijs de Ligt in defence.
But if a replacement is needed for Wan-Bissaka, then Guela Doue will now be among the names considered.
