Man United are now looking at a move to sign Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich this summer.

Manchester United are slowly ironing out the problems in their first-team squad.

A centre-back and striker have been signed.

Attentions now turn to central midfield and perhaps even right-back.

The right full-back position could be dependent on Aaron Wan-Bissaka leaving.

The Englishman has been linked with a potential Old Trafford exit this summer.

In the event that 'The Spider' does depart the Theatre of Dreams, a replacement will have to be sought.

Diogo Dalot cannot do it all on his own in that position, while none of the youngsters appear ready to make the jump up.

Now, Florian Plettenberg has thrown Noussair Mazraoui's name into the mix.

According to his information, United are 'exploring' a 'deal' to sign the right-back.

Somewhat interestingly, West Ham United are also said to be keen.

They're one of the sides who are interested in Wan-Bissaka.

The first 'concrete talks' are said to have taken place, while the player himself is 'keen' to play in the Premier League.

Mazraoui can leave Bayern Munich this summer, with Bayern looking for a fee that could rise to as much as PS21m (25m euro).

Mazraoui is at the top of the list for both clubs and he's keen to play Premier League.

com/SDlTEm08a8- Florian Plettenberg (@Plettigoal) July 22, 2024 That's a very reasonable fee for an established player like Mazraoui.

He fits into the system that Ten Hag wants to employ far better than Wan-Bissaka does.

If United could somehow sell Wan-Bissaka to West Ham for around PS15m, not only could it give the Reds a clear run at Mazraoui, but the transfer to sign the Moroccan would be pretty much paid for.

Yes, it's easier said than done, but United have done well in the transfer window so far.

Let's hope that continues.
