Manchester United have been quick and decisive in the transfer market so far and new arrivals could be on their way.

Deals for Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro have been completed and signed off by the club but there is no time for United's new-look recruitment team to stop and celebrate.

They have now turned their attention to a third summer signing with several rumours linking United to new midfielders and defenders.

Mazraoui is thought to be 'at the top of the list' for United and the report adds that he is now keen to play in the Premier League.

The 26-year-old previously played under Erik ten Hag at Ajax before joining Bayern Munich in 2022.

If United fans were wondering what kind of player they could be getting their hands on, Mazraoui's Bundesliga profile compares him to Liverpool's Alexander-Arnold.

The profile reads "Much like the current Liverpool right-sided full-back, Mazraoui loves to play in the opposition half, where he revels in one-on-ones and linking up with attacking teammates."

Diogo Dalot was one of United's best performers last season but extra depth and competition will be needed to challenge the Portuguese.

He has already played under Ten Hag's Ajax system and is described as a player who likes to play on the front foot. Comparisons to Alexander-Arnold are great to hear, but fans will hope he can defend a little better if he does end up at Old Trafford.
