The Ivory Coast international, who was signed from Atalanta back in 2021 for EUR21 million, has finally earned the manager's trust and ready in his development to make a sizeable impact for the club.

There has never been any doubt about Amad's technical capabilities; he is a wonderful dribbler, an intelligent playmaker, and has an eye for goal as seen with his 13 goals for AFC Sunderland in 37 Championship games during 22/23.

After two successful loans at Rangers in Scotland and Sunderland, Amad has come back a more physically robust player that can contribute considerably to Manchester United's performances.

Since pre-season ended and the official campaign began, Amad has started the opening two fixtures against Fulham and Brighton & Hove Albion, scoring once. The Ivorian has shown his fluent nature with the ball at his feet and ability to attack both on the inside and outside.

Given his technical qualities, Amad's a difficult winger to mark, not knowing which way he is going to go. His willingness to take his defender on is a major plus to Manchester United fans, who have seen a variety of different wingers in recent years fail to have the same level of confidence.

The Argentina international is, predominantly a left-sided player, but showed real quality and ingenuity playing on the opposite flank last season, which also saw him return 15 goals and assists. His output was consistent, which is why ten Hag opted to use him there on a regular basis.

With only being 22, Amad has an incredibly bright future at Manchester United, who are trying to solidify a core of younger talents breaking through and playing a pivotal role in the team's success.

Amad has the capabilities to kick on this season and nail down the right wing, which is exactly what fans of the Red Devils are hoping to see as the matches progress.
