The Red Devils looked to be on their way to a point at the London Stadium after Casemiro had cancelled out Crysencio Summerville's opener. But there was to be a late sting in the tale as the hosts were awarded a stoppage time penalty.

A collision between De Ligt and Ings was ignored by the on-field referee, only for VAR to intervene. A reveiew was recommended, with the original call being verturned and a penalty awarded to West Ham.

It could see Sir Jim Ratcliffe forced into a decision on Ten Hag's future sooner rather than later. The Red Devils are back in action in midweek as they welcome Leicester to Old Trafford for a Carabao Cup showdown.

They are then back in action at the weekend for a showdown with Chelsea. Speaking of the Blues, they were also involved in stoppage time controversy at the weekend.
