Former Arsenal manager 'perfect fit' for Man Utd, reckons Dwight Yorke
Source:Metro.co.uk: News,

Erik ten Hag was dismissed from his post at Old Trafford on Monday after a nightmare start to his third season in charge.

The search for a new boss does not look likely to take long as Sporting manager Ruben Amorim appears set to replace Ten Hag.

The Red Devils have wasted no time and it seems as if it will just be a matter of days before Amorim takes the job at Old Trafford, with Manchester United ready to meet his release clause.

The Portuguese boss is very highly rated and his appointment will go down well among Manchester United fans, but Yorke feels that there was a better option out there.

Yorke looks to another of his former clubs, Aston Villa, and sees the ideal candidate in Emery.

'I think Unai Emery is the one manager right now who can match and compete with the likes of Carlo Ancelotti, Zinedine Zidane and Pep,' Yorke told SafestCasinoSites.co.uk. 'I'm not going to be very popular at my old club for saying it, but Emery is the best candidate given Zidane's reluctance to come to England. He is the man that I would go out and do everything to try and get.

'If you want the best, you've got to pay the money to get the best,' he said. 'Manchester United do it with players, so why not do it with managers? I don't see any problem with that. Go get the manager you want. It costs you money. What's the big deal? You've already paid PS40 and PS50 million for players. You might as well spend money on a manager and see if that works.

'That's what Roy Keane said recently, and I agree with my old mate. Go out and get the best possible manager that you can. Don't be afraid to spend the money to do so.'
