Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford trained with England on Sunday afternoon Manchester United star Marcus Rashford eased the club's tension over his injury scare after participating in a training session for England. The 26-year-old collided with England teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold during the 2-0 victory against Malta in UEFA EURO 2024 qualifiers.
England manager Gareth Southgate substituted Rashford for Cole Palmer in the 61st minute against Malta after an injury concern. The 26-year-old received an on-field treatment from the England's medical staff before the substitution, leaving concern over his situation.
According to the report from Metro, Rashford participated in the training session with his England teammate on Sunday afternoon. England will face North Macedonia in their last UEFA EURO 24 qualifiers, having already qualified for the EURO 24 tournament.
Rashford has struggled with form for the Red Devils since the start of the current season. The 26-year-old has appeared in 16 matches while contributing with only one goal and three assists in all competitions.
The England international ended last season as United's leading goal scorer yet failed to continue with his form. Rashford has regressed to the inconsistencies and lack of productivity that stopped him from reaching his potential before last season.
Many football experts and fans have criticized the Englishman for being too selfish and failing to contribute to his teammates. Rashford has incredible pass, close control and dribbling ability which he uses to go past opponents from the left flank. However, the 26-year-old is too one-dimensional in his attack which makes him predictable for the opponents.
Southgate on Rashford injury: "I think he's probably okay".
"We just thought given the nature of the collision, it was a chance to get Cole into the game".

- Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) November 17, 2023 The England international relies too much on cutting inside from wide and creating space to shoot. The singular style of play makes it easy for the opponents to predict Rashford's actions. The Englishman can benefit from mixing things and going to byline or opting to assist his teammates.
More Manchester United News- United fans would breathe a sigh of relief given that Rashford is not facing a long-term injury. The Red Devils have suffered an injury crisis this season and despite the 26-year-old's poor form, he remains an important player for the starting eleven.
