QPR, Millwall and Watford stars dominate Championship Team of the Week

It's perhaps no surprise to see two Rs players in the XI, as well as head coach Marti Cifuentes being named Manager of the Week in the side produced by the stats experts at WhoScored. QPR turned heads with a dominant showing against promotion-chasing Leeds United, which saw the relegation-threatened club run riot with a 4-0 victory.

That win confirmed the club's Championship survival with four different goalscorers on the night. Ilias Chair opened the scoring with a brilliant strike from distance before Lucas Andersen, Lyndon Dykes and Sam Field all found themselves hitting the back of the net too.

The QPR boss said: "I think good players always show up in the key moments and he shows he's a top player for us. I'm very, very happy for his performance. There were a lot of good individual performances, so it would be unfair to just highlight Ilias, but definitely, he was really, really good."

There are also two representatives from Millwall in the Team of the Week with defenders Jake Cooper and Ryan Leonard at the back following the club's 1-0 win over Plymouth Argyle at The Den. It was Cooper who scored the winner in that match with less than 10 minutes left to play, taking the Lions up to 16th in the table.

Speaking about the goal, Neil Harris said: "Jake's header was fantastic. That's another one he owed me! He's had a load of free headers he hasn't scored. I'll have one more off him next week. It's a great ball in and a great header by Coops and that's ultimately what's he done his whole career and hasn't done enough this year."

From Watford, Wesley Hoedt is also part of the Team of the Week defence. The Hornets beat Sunderland 1-0 at Vicarage Road, keeping their fourth clean sheet in five league outings.
