Newcastle United are now willing to pay up to PS50m for one Real Madrid player as they look to bolster their attack in January.

Brahim Diaz has had a difficult time in Madrid since signing in 2019 but has enjoyed a good run of form in the last month and now has a big decision to make on his future.

A report from Madrid Universal claims that Newcastle could make an offer of PS50m for the winger next month with Diaz out of favour in the Spanish capital.

Diaz could solve Newcastle's attacking issues Newcastle have been struggling to find form as of late and supporters are growing frustrated at the the lack of attacking output with Miguel Almiron suffering the brunt end of the criticism.

The Paraguayan frustrates many fans with his poor decision making when it comes to playing the ball with his right foot and some have suggested replacing him next month.

The 'outstanding' Diaz has hit form at the perfect time ahead of the window thanks to an injury to Vinicius Jr which has given him a window of opportunity in the team and he now has a chance to move away from La Liga.

It's not been smooth sailing for the 24-year-old since joining Los Blancos as he spent three years on loan at AC Milan, but now could be the time for the attacker to make a permanent switch.

Newcastle fans must prepare for a long month ahead With so many conflicting reports about how much Newcastle have to spend in January and who they are targeting or not targeting, fans should be prepared for what will be a very long four weeks.

That's without considering the fact the team also have to play Liverpool, Sunderland, Manchester City and Aston Villa in that time, so things won't be easy both on and off the pitch.

Diaz would be a monumental signing for the club and has been tracked by Newcastle before, but every other rumour suggests that Newcastle simply do not have that much to spend on one player right now.
