Newcastle United are in the process of a commercial overhaul at the club so that they can "dominate" under new rules, sources have told Football Insider.

Top-flight clubs voted in a Premier League meeting to implement a new financial model that replaces the current Profit and Sustainability Rules.

New regulations will copy the model used within Uefa where club spending is limited to a percentage of their overall revenue.

Clubs not competing in European competition can spend up to 85 percent of their overall revenue on transfer fees, wages and agent fees - clubs in Europe are capped at 70 percent.

Newcastle sign six deals in plan to 'dominate' - more still to come Newcastle's revenue increased to PS250million in their latest 2022-23 accounts but club owners PiF are keen to grow that figure to compete with the 'Big Six'.

Following the takeover in 2021, Newcastle have taken advantage of their new popularity in Saudi Arabia to sign deals with Noon, Sela and Saudia as shirt sponsors and airline partners.

A five-year deal with Adidas worth PS40million per season also represented a huge upgrade on their existing PS5million per season agreement with Castore.

Newcastle's commercial growth is evident on their club website with 11 primary commercial partners now listed.

In other news, Newcastle United are now vulnerable to deal for 24-year-old star
