Eddie Howe has a few players back from injury and at his disposal as Newcastle United take on West Ham. However, they still have some key players missing due to injuries.

Callum Wilson will unfortunately not be able to play in the upcoming match due to a pectoral muscle injury. This is disappointing considering his impressive track record against West Ham.

On the positive side, Eddie Howe can count on the availability of Kieran Trippier, Tino Livramento and Harvey Barnes for the game at St James' Park.

How will these updates affect Howe's team selection?

The return of several injured players gives Eddie Howe more options when it comes to selecting his starting lineup tomorrow.

In terms of goalkeeping duties, Martin Dubravka, who withdrew from international duty for personal reasons, is expected to play after being confirmed fit by Howe.

Defence

Kieran Trippier, the PS12 million signing from Atletico Madrid and England defender, is likely to feature in the starting lineup. The choice between Trippier and Tino Livramento will depend on their match readiness.

Jamaal Lascelles will return to the firstteam defense following Sven Botman's absence due to stubbornness earlier in the season. Fabian Schar also had a recent run out with Switzerland during the break which should boost his confidence going into this game. Dan Burn remains a favorite of Howe despite Lewis Hall's impressive cameo performance for England Elites.

Midfield

In midfield, Sean Longstaff is expected to retain his place in spite of Elliot Anderson's increasing fitness level who some would prefer to see start instead.

Bruno Guimaraes needs to bounce back from his poor showing against Spain while Joe Willock continues growing stronger and more effective as an attacking threat that can trouble West Ham.

Forwards

The decision between Jacob Murphy and Miguel Almiron has divided opinions within our office but ultimately Murphy may get the nod tomorrow.

With Alexander Isak being Newcastle United's only fit striker at present, he is certain to lead the line given both his quality on field performances along with Anthony Gordon who made a strong impression representing England during international break

To strengthen their bench options further,Tino Livramentoand Harvey Barnes alongside Miguel Almiron,Elliot Anderson, andLewis Hallwill all be available substitutes if needed. This provides Eddie Howewith valuable alternatives should West Ham gain control of the game.

While Newcastle United is still some way off from being at full strength, it's reassuring to have a range of options for team selection.
