Tottenham have the chance to continue their strong run when they take on Newcastle United on Saturday (13 April).

St James' Park hosts the Premier League clash, with both clubs going into the match unbeaten in their last three matches.

Moreover, both clubs have two wins and one draw in those runs, with Spurs sitting fourth in the table and Newcastle in eighth.

Ange Postecoglou went strong in the club's latest clash with Nottingham Forest, with Spurs running out 3-1 winners at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday (7 April).

But changes could be made for the trip to Newcastle, with Football Insider predicting the Spurs XI for that clash following the latest injury updates.

Guglielmo Vicario stepped up when it mattered against Forest, and the Italian is expected to continue in goal against the Magpies.

Incidentally, deputy goalkeeper Fraser Forster remains sidelined with a foot injury, and is expected to be out for the rest of the campaign, as per the Evening Standard (8 April).

No changes are expected in defence either, with Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie set to continue at right-back and left-back respectively, either side of central defenders Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven.

Van de Ven should be full of confidence after his superb display last time out, with the centre-back winning all five of his ground duels and registering a match-high five tackles to go alongside his superb goal.

Postecoglou took major action at half-time against Forest, swapping out midfield duo Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur.

The man in the dugout may just switch things up for the Newcastle test, potentially handing starts to Hojbjerg and Bentancur this time around.

Hojbjerg certainly made a positive impact from the bench in North London, with the Dane winning his only aerial duel and registering an 88% passing accuracy, while Bentancur chipped in with an assist.

Postecoglou also has a big decision to make in the final third, with the manager hoping to have Richarlison fit after a knee injury for the Brazilian, as per the Evening Standard (8 April).

It may, however, be too much of a risk for Richarlison to get the nod from the start, meaning Timo Werner, James Maddison and Brennan Johnson are all expected to continue in attack, with the Brazilian certain to get minutes from the bench if he isn't handed a start.

And Son Heung-min is expected to retain his place ahead of them, with the South Korean star crucial against Forest with an 82% passing accuracy and two key passes, with the forward also registering an assist and striking the post.
