Newcastle United have been all about progression since Eddie Howe became manager.

As a club, Newcastle United has evolved and developed under his guidance. Eddie Howe got the Magpies to Wembley for a cup final, while he also guided his team into the Champions League.

That is where PIF want to be every season, and the players will be eager to return as soon as possible after experiencing Europe's elite competition last year.

The club is progressing, and so are the players. Eddie Howe has enhanced the careers of so many players at Newcastle United, with Joelinton probably the biggest example. He is now a key cog in the Newcastle machine, going from a failing forward to a powerhouse midfielder.

Howe has also helped Alexander Isak reach the point in which people call him world class, while Anthony Gordon has quickly taken his game to new heights.

But Livramento has been asked by BBC Newcastle if there is more to come, and his response was certainly emphatic.

"Yeah, of course, I've only been here for one season," he said.

"I'm still 21-years-old. I'm at the point in my career where I'm developing physically and understanding what the manager wants from me tactically. Technically, I'm brushing up on the little things.

"There's definitely a lot to still come from me."

More could soon be expected of Tino Livramento Livramento expects to keep progressing in black and white, after playing more than expected in his first season with the club.

That was largely down to injury, as Livramento was initially brought in to act as understudy to Kieran Trippier.

Livramento was sold the vision that he would learn from Trippier, before eventually taking his place when the time comes. Now that time could be very close, as it has been reported that Newcastle will likely sell Trippier this summer.

That will mean that Livramento is promoted to being the Magpies' first choice right-back, which is a real show of faith after just one year of acting as deputy.

But it was an impressive year, with Livramento quickly showing why Newcastle were right to invest so much money in him.

Livramento's preferred position after left-back heroics Whether it was right-back or left-back, Livramento was exceptional. There were even calls for him to be the first choice left-back last year ahead of Dan Burn, with the former Chelsea youngster really thriving after being asked to play out of position.

But while Livramento did so well on the left, he has told BBC Newcastle that he still thinks his best position is on the right.

"That was my first experience ever of playing as a left-back," he said.

"I think it's down to the coaching. They gave me that freedom to understand the role as quick as I could and I was fortunate to play there a lot last season.

"But I feel like I am naturally more comfortable playing on the right. If the manager plays me anywhere, I'm always going to give 100%."
