Manchester City are leaving this weekend with a valuable point in the grand scheme of things after a tough match vs. a game Newcastle. The match devolved from the first minute and was highlighted by another referee call in the penalty. Still, two draws ina row, while less than optimal, puts the club in solid ground heading into another international break soon.

A match that had a similar feel to most City matches, yet resulted in some good play for the team as the intensity was present early. It was a bit disjointed at points, but it was a mediocre performance ultimately in the end.

One where City was in control with possession and chances created. They played a very solid match and at least are still undefeated in this season.

City had so many players who played decently this time and that includes some lineup choices that were forced by injury & sickness.

Two other players of note who did play well and were lively were of course, Jack Grealish, and Mateo Kovacic who showed up well.

The story of the night is that City get the draw in a dramatic game and move on still unbeaten in the league.
