Bruno Guimaraes tried everything he could to get Newcastle United over the line.

However, it wasn't quite enough.

The Newcastle United captain and his teammates left wondering how they managed to come away from Goodison Park without the win.

They absolutely dominated Everton, who didn't have a single corner, whilst United had ten.

Eddie Howe's team with 42 touches in the Everton penalty area, whilst the home side a paltry 12 in Newcastle's penalty area.

Bruno Guimaraes perfectly summing things up after the game, when commenting via his own personal social media:

"Frustration to not get the 3 points.

"I think we deserved a win today.

"No time for regrets.

"We move on and see you after the international break.

"Once again, thank you for your support as always Newcastle United fans."

If ever a Premier League point felt like a defeat, it was this one.

However, as Bruno Guimaraes says, 'no time for regrets' and just a case of getting straight back into it in two weeks time at home to Brighton.

Hopefully by then, we will have the likes of Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson available once more, to take advantage of the quite of domination we saw today and chances created.
