Newcastle United have a player who can go right to the top of the game in the eyes of Kieran Trippier.
The Magpies have made some sensational signings since the change of ownership, but none more expensive than Alexander Isak.
He became the club's new record signing in August 2022 when he joined for PS63million, and has since gone on to prove why Newcastle invested so much money in him.
The 24-year-old is an elite forward, and has actually helped push Callum Wilson to even greater heights. The pair motivated each other last season, which resulted in them both getting double figures.
They are on course to do that again this season, with both players currently on seven goals.
Isak is an exceptional talent, and a player who Kieran Trippier believes can get even better in the coming years - which is a terrifying prospect.
Kieran Trippier thinks Newcastle teammate Alexander Isak is 'frightening' in front of goal Trippier spoke to the Sky Sports Premier League YouTube channel about Isak, and admitted that he is up there with the best strikers he has played with. That would include Harry Kane, who Trippier has played alongside for England and Tottenham Hotspur.
"His finishing is up there with the best I've played with," he said.

"He's frightening.
"What he brings to the team, not just goals. If you look at the Everton goal last year. Technically, he's so good with the ball. He can beat a man. He's got everything.
"Obviously Wilson can score goals as well so we've got two fantastic strikers. But Alex has got everything. He can dribble, he's very quick and can score goals.
"He can go all the way to the top. People forget how young he is."
But he is more than a finisher. He is a dribbler and a creator, and he kills teams with his speed. That is why he has been likened to Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, which is incredibly high praise.
Isak is a major talent, and it is vital that he returns from injury very soon. The Sweden international has not played since he was forced off during the home defeat to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
But he is expected to return after the international break when Newcastle face Chelsea on November 25th. That is excellent news, especially with Callum Wilson set for a spell on the sidelines.
With Wilson out, Newcastle are going to have to rely on the 'frightening' Alexander Isak more than ever.
