Newcastle United insiders reportedly believe that there is a freak injury problem with Dan Burn amid the club's ongoing crisis.

According to I News, the 31-year-old's back problem has left those inside the club confused as to why so many injuries are now occurring at Newcastle heading into the November international break.

An incredible 11 first-team players are currently out injured, with Alexander Isak the only name expected to return later this month when Newcastle face Chelsea in the Premier League.
