Chris Cohen has lauded the Nottingham Forest recruitment team for finding Murillo this summer. The man who made over 300 appearances for the Reds has been simply blown away by the central defender.
Cohen was summarising for BBC Radio Nottingham on the recent 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace. After that particular game, he was quizzed on the impact that Murillo has had on the team so far. < /p>
Cohen raves about Murillo after recent Forest clash It's been a remarkable impact from the Brazilian defender. It's intriguing that Steve Cooper has thrown him into his team so quickly, with many presuming he was signed as a player for the future. < /p>
In both games, he's looked like a quality addition to the squad. At 21-years-old, he will only continue to improve and Forest look to have already hit the jackpot by beating other clubs to his signature. < /p>

Cohen was impressed and he's told BBC Radio Nottingham: "Yeah, what a find. He's 21-years-old, and he doesn't look like he's got a lot of games under his belt in terms of games but I watched the game against Brentford and he was brilliant. Against Palace, he was outstanding, defensively outstanding. He won all of his aerial duels, he looks quick across the ground and he's able to defend one on one. < /p>
"We talk about left-footed defenders and defenders who can spray passes about, well the pass for Gibbs-White is just an amazing weapon to have in the Premier League. It's probably something that the other defenders at the club don't have. < /p>
"It's been an amazing start for him in the Premier League and long may it continue. He's a really exciting player and well done to the recruitment team, they look like they've found an absolute gem." < /p>
Murillo could become City Ground star Cohen is right. Murillo boasts real quality and hopefully, he can continue in the team. He has strength, composure and perhaps more intriguingly, he has a drizzle of Brazilian flair thrown in for good measure. < /p>
Murillo will have to work hard to stay in the team. Steve Cooper is now blessed with several central defenders in his squad and they will all want to play during the current campaign. < /p>
Cohen is spot on with this assessment. It's quite something to see Murillo playing so well at the moment. The challenge for Cooper ahead of his weekend is to decide if he keeps his place. < /p> < /span> < form onsubmit = "commentSubmit(event);" > < div class = "likes-comments-news main-news-comment" > < input type = "hidden" name = "type" class = "type" value = "news" > < input type = "hidden" name = "identity" class = "identity" value = "24846" > < input type = "text" class = "comment" name = "comment" placeholder = "Your thoughts?" id = "" > < button class = "post-news" type = "submit" > Post < /button> < /div> < /form> < div class = "cbn_news_comments_container" > < div class = "cbn_news_comments_wrap" > < /div> < /div> < /div> < /div> < /div> < div class = "nextnews-wrap" > < a href = "http://www.social442.com/england/nottingham-forest/news/24785/unbelievable-24-year-old-will-leave-pl-club-in-january-after-nearly-joining-forest-romano" > < div class = "next-news-parent" > < div class = "naxt-news-text-wrap" > < p class = "nextnews" > Next news < /p> < h3 class = "best-goals" > 'Unbelievable' 24-year-old will leave PL club in January after nearly joining Forest - Romano < /h3> < a href = "http://www.social442.com/england/nottingham-forest/news/24785/unbelievable-24-year-old-will-leave-pl-club-in-january-after-nearly-joining-forest-romano" class = "arrow-down" > Read more < /a> < div class = "image-wrap" > < /div> < /div> < /div> < /a> < div class = "big-dark-blue-wave" > < /div> < /div> < !--news - cb - end-- >
