Tottenham should make a move for Morgan Gibbs-White if he was to leave Nottingham Forest, believes talkSPORT's Gabby Agbonlahor.

The 24-year-old excelled in Forest's 3-1 over Fulham on Tuesday night, scoring and assisting in a crucial win in their bid to avoid relegation.

As a result, Forest may need to sell key players this summer to help ease their financial worries, with Gibbs-White a potential departure.

And if he was to leave the City Ground, Agbonlahor believes that he could suit a move to north London with Spurs.

When asked by Darren Bent on talkSPORT Drive if the midfielder could play for a top four side, he said: "100 per cent. I see a team that suit him, Spurs.

"Champions League football, and you're bringing on Gibbs-White and you're rotating him in that position. I think he offers everything, first touch, can score a goal, can pick a pass out, he's got that flair.

"Like we said earlier, that assist in the previous game against [Crystal] Palace to Chris Wood, the defenders didn't even see that pass. Just a little dink onto Chris Wood's head, a straight pass as well.

"I think he's got it all and Nottingham Forest might be in a position at the end of the season where they have to sell someone like Gibbs-White."

"Forest are going to want top dollar for him but if they're under pressure to sell, clubs will know that and maybe offer less than PS40million because Forest have to sell someone for financial fair play.

Former sporting director Luke Dowling reveals the two clubs that are as tough to do business with as Tottenham Hotspur and Daniel Levy "But I don't think he goes to a top four club and then looks out of place, I think he fits it, top player."

Gibbs-White is in his second season at Forest since he signed from Wolves in 2022 in a deal worth around PS42.5million.

He sits on five goals and seven assists in all competitions for the current campaign and continued form like this could earn him a big move elsewhere.
