Matt Turner was in action once again for the USA last night and the Nottingham Forest goalkeeper has earned rave reviews. The Stars and Stripes defeated Ghana 4-0, with Chris Hughton's team absolutely thrashed.
It was a comprehensive rout for the USA national team who never really needed to get out of first gear. Two goals from Giovanni Reyna and strikes from Christian Pulisic and Folarin Balogun saw the team head into the break four goals to the good.
Turner stars in international victory Despite a routine win for the USA, Turner did have moments where he was called into action. He made a wonderful save just before the interval and Goal has raved about his performance.
They awarded him a 7/10 and claimed: "An absolutely spectacular save just before the break as Turner showed an insane change of direction to get to a deflected shot."

Once again Turner played the full 90 minutes for his country. He's firmly established as the number one right now and he will hope to continue starring for the USA in the future.
Turner has gained confidence from Forest chance Clearly, the move to Forest has worked out for Turner. He's showcasing that he can get even better and his performance for the USA last night was one of a switched-on and focused goalkeeper.
Right now, the gloves are Turner's to lose, however. He looks to have the backing of the head coach and with performances like this one last night, he will surely keep his place in the team.
