Morgan Gibbs-White will steer Nottingham Forest to Premier League safety.
That's the opinion of former Republic of Ireland striker Clinton Morrison who believes the Reds skipper has the 'X-Factor' that separates Forest from the likes of Luton Town and other relegation candidates.
That comes after Gibbs-White scored against his former club Wolverhampton Wanderers in Saturday's 2-2 draw, a frustrating match that leaves Nuno's team one point above the drop zone and with a huge game against Everton coming up next weekend.
But Morrison, who played for Crystal Palace and Birmingham City, thinks that with games against the Toffees, Burnley and Sheffield United on their schedule - and with Gibbs-White pulling the strings, they'll overcome their points deduction and stay up.
"They have got the X-Factor with Morgan Gibbs-White. I think Forest will be alright because Gibbs-White plays a key role for them," Morrison told Sky Sports.
"He's a fantastic footballer, he sees passes, he scores big goals for them and he leads by example. He's the captain, I thought he was outstanding, he played a lot of good balls
"But their finishing, they were wasteful, Origi right at the end had a great chance, they're in on goal, just slide it but he overhits it and that's where they've been all season in the final third, probably not a not as good as they should be.
"But I thought Gibbs-White, he shows that X Factor, that's why I believe Nottingham Forest will be alright this season."
