Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas was on loan at Nottingham Forest during the second half of last season.
The Costa Rica international kept two clean sheets and conceded 32 goals from 17 league games for the Tricky Trees. He played a part in helping them finish four points above the relegation zone.
Navas returned to PSG in the summer and the Reds are still talking about his contribution from last season. That's according to Nottingham Forest's Brandon Aguilera, who made this claim during an interview with ESPN.
The 20-year-old midfielder claims the Premier League side believe his compatriot has left a 'great legacy' during his short spell in England.
"Keylor Navas has a great legacy there, the fans, the teammates have great affection for him for everything he contributed last season, since I arrived my teammates talk to me about him, everything he contributed, a reference when he was there," he said. "Keylor Navas has left a great legacy wherever he has played, and at Nottingham Forest, it's no exception."
Aguilera, who played with the stopper for Costa Rica during last month's international break, has received tips from the 36-year-old on how to improve his own game. The youngster made this claim about the star when revealing that Steve Cooper also talks about the goalkeeper.
"The coach also gives me very positive comments about Keylor Navas, last FIFA date, I was able to talk a lot with Keylor Navas, [he] gave me advice that could help me to be well, to meet the expectations we have," Aguilera explained.
Aguilera didn't play with Navas at Nottingham Forest as he was out on loan at Estoril. This season, the former has made only one appearance for the English club's senior team.
