With Nottingham Forest bringing in 13 new signings once again this summer, Steve Cooper is starting to figure out his best starting XI.
The Reds have started to look more settled in recent weeks with only minor and enforced changes made to the starting eleven.
Here is our take on Steve Cooper's strongest starting XI as Nottingham Forest manager...
Matt Turner - GK The 29-year-old has had a good start to life at the City Ground after his summer arrival, with the former Arsenal man keeping two clean sheets in his first eight Premier League games.
Serge Aurier - RB After his contract extension this summer, Aurier has taken the armband for the Reds on multiple occasions - even producing a Man of the Match performance against Sheffield United, where he collected two assists.
Willy Boly - CB The 32-year-old has the highest average of any player in the Forest so far this season. He's taken his performances to the next level, with his PS2.85 million from Wolves last summer now looking a real bargain.
MORE FOREST STORIES
Ola Aina - LB The 26-year-old joined the Reds on a free this summer and has proven to be a brilliant signing despite playing out of position for most of his time at the club.
Ibrahim Sangare - CDM The club-record signing looks to be slowly proving his worth to the Nottingham Forest squad. He's starting to show off his ball-winning capabilities, with his wide range of passing whilst in possession.
Orel Mangala - CM Mangala has started every game for Forest so far this season, with the Belgian taking up a deeper role, allowing him to get on the ball more. This role has seen him make more accurate passes and take his performances to the next level.
Callum Hudson-Odoi - LW The 22-year-old 'wonderkid' has instantly impacted life at the City Ground, scoring on his debut against Burnley. He's since showcased his ability on the ball with direct dribbling at the opposition - causing problems at every opportunity.
Morgan Gibbs-White - RW The midfielder hasn't quite reached the levels he achieved last season, but he's played centrally in the last couple of games, with the Reds' number 10 looking more like his usual self.
Taiwo Awoniyi - ST Awoniyi, the Reds' top scorer so far this season, has enjoyed another good spell in front of goal, but his recent injury setback could be a worry to Cooper. Hopefully, he can return from injury after the international break at the peak of his powers once again.
