Steve Cooper has confirmed that Nottingham Forest winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to be out for at least six weeks.

The 22-year-old, who joined the Reds this summer, missed the 2-2 draw with Luton Town after picking up an injury during the international break.

Since his arrival from Chelsea, Hudson-Odoi has been influential for Cooper's side - scoring a brilliant goal on his debut against Burnley.

However, after his positive start, he is now set for a spell on the sidelines.

"Callum [Hudson-Odoi] will be missing for at least six weeks, with Divock [Origi] missing for a couple of weeks less and unfortunately Taiwo [Awoniyi] isn't back with us yet.

"It's been a bad week injury-wise for us, with no natural attacking options to bring off the bench."

The trio of Anthony Elanga, Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood are the only senior forwards available to the Forest boss for the next couple of weeks.

Should any of those join the other three on the injury list, the Reds may find themselves in a tough situation with the lack of depth available.
