Nottingham Forest have been dealt a blow with the news winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is facing six weeks on the sidelines.
The summer signing suffered a hamstring injury in the build-up to the Reds' 2-2 draw with Luton Town. He faces a significant spell out of action, leaving head coach Steve Cooper suddenly short of attacking options.
Forward Divock Origi was also ruled out of the clash with the Hatters, while Taiwo Awoniyi is currently absent with a groin problem. It meant Forest lacked back-up for starting striker Chris Wood at the City Ground.
"Callum is out for six weeks. He's pulled his hamstring," Cooper said.
"Divock has got a hip injury. That is going to rule him out for a good few weeks.
"We've not had a great week (with injuries), and certainly with attacking players. Taiwo is obviously not available either, so we didn't really have any like-for-like attacking changes today.
"Sometimes in a game like this what you want to do is freshen it up. We ended up having to freshen up in other areas. It's not normal to bring a centre-back off - it's not something I like to do - but Willy (Boly) told us how he was feeling, having not long been back in the country, and we felt the change was the right thing."
The Reds were also without Gonzalo Montiel against Luton after he suffered a calf injury while on duty with Argentina. Ola Aina made his comeback from a muscle issue by coming off the bench, but Nuno Tavares, Felipe and Danilo remain absent.
Forest had gone 2-0 up on their return to action after the international break, courtesy of a Chris Wood brace. But they fell apart in the closing minutes as Chiedozie Ogbene and Elijah Adebayo claimed a point for the visitors.
Defender Boly was brought off when the hosts were two goals to the good, as one of three substitutions made by Cooper at that point. The Ivory Coast international had been feeling fatigued, having only recently got back from being on for his country.
