Julian Larsson Joins Burton Albion

BURTON Albion is pleased to announce the signing of Sweden forward Julian Larsson from Nottingham Forest.

The 23-year-old joined Forest in 2020 from Allsvenskan side AIK and has represented his country from Under-16 all the way up to 20 level, including participating in the UEFA European Under 17 Championships.

He has established himself as an important player in Forest's Under-23 side, having scored a total of 16 goals in 43 Premier League 2 appearances. He also enjoyed his first taste of senior football last season, scoring once in two games for Forest in the EFL Trophy, before spending the second half of the season on loan at Morecambe where he made 13 appearances.

On signing for the Brewers, Larsson said: "I'm very excited to be here and to be a part of this and I can't wait to get started.

"For me as a player I want to develop and I feel this is the perfect setup for me, a very good level and a club that has very high ambitions.

"The facilities are great here and the club have such big ambitions, so It'll be a good move for me."
