Source:Latest News

It's been a little under a week since Wolves discovered their 2024/25 Premier League schedule.

Gary O'Neil's men will begin the season away at the Emirates on Saturday, August 10 where they will play title hopefuls Arsenal. Their first home game of the campaign they will welcome Chelsea a week later, with their season concluding against Brentford on May 25, 2025.

The league season is 38 games long with 19 games at home. Such is the life of a Premier League supporter, the best way of following your team is by being there, and having a season ticket is the best option. At some clubs, there's 20-year waiting lists to get a ticket that guarantees your presence at all of the home games, and then there are others who still have tickets on sale to the general public now.

The price of season tickets is a sore subject for Wolves supporters with there being fan back lash most recently. Certain areas of the ground saw 'substantial rises' but Jeff Shi stressed that commercial growth is vital and that they had listened to fan feedback. Wolves wanted to ensure that their prices were neither 'significantly higher nor lower' than their peers.

Buying a season ticket is quite a commitment to make however, and it's quite a big lump sum. Nevertheless, there will be supporters who pay it as they are desperate to ensure they are able to watch their team every week.

The United Kingdom is in a Cost of Living crisis, and some football fans are having to decide whether they can still afford such an expensive hobby. A study conducted by Ticketgum has said that the average price of a season ticket in the Premier League has gone up by 7.5% with figures sourced from official club websites. They have analysed all 20 teams and here in order are the cheapest offerings for an adult season ticket.
