Nottingham Forest players are now back at Wilford Lane for the start of pre-season.

The Garibaldi posted footage of Ola Aina, Ryan Yates, Callum Hudson-Odoi and others returning to work earlier this week, with the latter sporting a new blonde hairstyle.

Now, Nottingham Forest have posted further images of the squad back at Wilford Lane, where an interesting detail was spotted in a photo of Murillo...

What Nottingham Forest posted about Murillo The Reds uploaded a photo of the Brazilian on the training pitches at Wilford Lane earlier on Thursday - where new signing Carlos Miguel could be seen in the background.

However, the more eagle-eyed Nottingham Forest fans will have also spotted something else.

Murillo - who Miguel said spoke very highly about Nottingham Forest as he pondered whether to leave Corinthians this summer - can be seen wearing a No.5 on his new training jacket just above the adidas logo.

That is - of course - different to the No.40 worn by the central defender last season, so he appears to have taken Orel Mangala's No.5 shirt.

MORE FOREST STORIES

The Belgium international only recently left to join Lyon on a permanent basis, with Nottingham Forest receiving PS31m in total from the French giants.

Therefore, Murillo was clearly keen to snap up the No.5 shirt quickly - one he has never previously worn in his career.

Chelsea are said to be keen on signing the 22-year-old, along with Atletico Madrid.

Hopefully, that turns out to be the case, and the Nottingham Forest fan favourite continues to shine in red.
