Source:Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest are flying high in the Premier League right now, but it look as if one transfer is still out of reach in January despite their fine start.

The January transfer window provides the perfect opportunity for Nottingham Forest to really aid their European push with a number of healthy additions.

After seeing the impact of Nikola Milenkovic and Elliot Anderson so far this season, it's clear that there are bargains to be had in the market.

The fact that Milenkovic only cost PS12 million is even more mind-boggling by the day, with Don Hutchinson even stunned at how cheap the deal was.

Nuno Espirito Santo has an eye for a bargain, but one recent rumour suggested something different as a big money signing is supposedly being eyed by Nottingham Forest.

Graeme Bailey shares what he's heard about Nottingham Forest wanting Jamie Bynoe-Gittens Nottingham Forest have been keeping an eye on Borussia Dortmund star Jamie Bynoe-Gittens ahead of a potential transfer move (as per Nottingham Live).

Interestingly, he's had an EUR100 million (PS83m) price tag slapped on his head by his current club.

We spoke to journalist Graeme Bailey, who gave us the latest on the rumours surrounding Bynoe-Gittens and a potential move to Nottingham Forest

He exclusively told Nottingham Forest News: "Forest aren't a name I've heard, I'll be honest. Obviously they signed the two wingers in the summer, they've got Elanga, Hudson-Odoi, Jota Silva and Ramon Sosa, so they've got four wingers.

"I don't think they're looking at one for January in particular. Would they be interested in him? Yeah I don't see why not but obviously I haven't heard that."

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens' season to date at Borussia Dortmund Jamie Bynoe-Gittens is only 20 years of age, yet he's already a regular at Borussia Dortmund.

He can operate on the left or right wing and has 15 appearances to his name this season. In this games he's managed to score five goals and has laid on three assists.

Nottingham Forest already have the likes of Anthony Elanga, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Ramon Sosa and Jota Silva who can operate out wide.

However, Bynoe-Gittens does fit into the mould of a Nottingham Forest player, with the pace and power to start counter-attacks, as well as being a promising young talent.
