Pundit drops verdict on whether Nottingham Forest can win the Premier League
Source:Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest have been the surprise package of the current Premier League campaign, which has led to one pundit predicting whether they can even win the league.

Of course, we all remember the infamous Leicester City season under Claudio Ranieri where they lifted the title and shocked everybody in the process.

Well, this season does have a weirdly similar feeling about if for Nottingham Forest, not that we are suggesting for one minute that the Premier League title is the target.

Nottingham Forest are one of only three teams to have lost just one game in the Premier League this season, and now find themselves just a goal behind Liverpool in the against column.

However, we are only 10 games in and Nuno Espirito Santo is currently gearing up for one of the toughest challenges yet, with Newcastle United to come at the City Ground on Sunday.

Given their impressive start to the campaign, one pundit has given his verdict on whether Nottingham Forest really can go all the way.

Leroy Rosenior doesn't think Nottingham Forest have what it takes to win the Premier League The January transfer window will play a key part in Nottingham Forest's season, despite it looking like they don't need to sign anyone at this moment in time.

Potential exits will play just as bigger part, with Murillo a name that will no doubt be on the mouths of most clubs in England and Europe.

Aired on SuperSport TV, Rosenior stated that he's been super impressed by Nottingham Forest but they don't have what it takes to win the Premier League.

"Can they win the PL? No, I don't think they can but I wanted to big them up because they deserve so much praise. The first ten games of the season, absolutely outstanding."

Where is realistic for Nottingham Forest? Of course, the Premier League title would take something unbelievable with the way Liverpool are going at the minute and their healthy lead.

Securing European football would be a more than big enough achievement when you consider Forest were most people's favourites for relegation.

A place inside the top ten has to be the minimum target for Forest after this start and the squad at Nuno Espirito Santo's disposal, though one injury to a Chris Wood or someone could change things.

After all, Gary Lineker has already backtracked on his prediction.
