'Answer is surely yes': Phil Hay suggests Daniel Farke will make three Leeds changes against QPR

Phil Hay has told The Square Ball that Daniel Farke could make three changes to his Leeds United side on Wednesday night - and bring Joe Rodon, Archie Gray and Jaidon Anthony into the starting line-up.

Leeds play host to QPR. It comes after Farke chose to remain with the side that beat Watford 3-0 at Elland Road - and ended up losing 3-1 to Southampton. Changes will be needed come Wednesday.

Mostly, because of the quick turnaround in games and players will need a rest. But also, because of the manner of the first-half performance on the south coast. A display far below the bar Leeds have set.

Then a slightly more surprising one, in the form of on-loan winger Anthony getting his first start as QPR come to town. Whether that is for Dan James or Cree Summerville remains to be seen. We shall see.

"You fully expect Ethan Ampadu to stay in the team, I suppose there is the question does Archie Gray come back in? Does Farke mix it up a little bit there?" Hay said, on the latest episode of the Square Ball.

"That aside, is this possibly a good night for Jaidon Anthony to make his debut? That could be justified, but I suspect all eyes will be on Rodon, does he come back into the defence? The answer is surely yes."

But in the same mindset, if you fail to meet the required standards - then changes will be made. Back come Rodon, Gray and possibly a first start for Anthony. Maybe, also, Luke Ayling on the right flank.
